The name-plate-unveiling ceremony of Matador-MESNAC Software Technology Center and Shandong Technology Center of Rubber Industry was solemnized in the industrial park of MESNAC in Qingdao Bonded Area on May, 12th 2004. An economy delegation headed by Pavol Rusko, vice premier of Slovakia, and experts and enterprise representatives in rubber industry attended the ceremony including Ma Lunye, vice chairman of Qingdao NPC, Yu Chong, vice mayor of Qingdao, Wu Mingxin, vice chief of Europe Department under Ministry of Commerce, Zhou Ping, vice chief of Foreign Affairs Department under Ministry of Commerce, Zheng Xingye, vice chief of Shandong Economy and Trade Committee, Ju Hongzhen, head of National Rubber Industry Association.
Shandong is a powerful province in rubber sector with a production value hitting 1/2 of the total output of nationwide rubber industry. Lots of well-known manufacturers, research institutions and colleges with regard to rubber tire amass around Qingdao, which possesses large advantages in rubber talents, rubber technology and products development. Etablished of Shandong Technology Center of Rubber Industry sponsored by MESNAC, a platform will be built as a combination of RD, training and exchange, technical service, transformation of scientific results and the industrialization for the rubber manufacturers in Shandong province and in China.
