MESNAC R&D Center was put into use with the congratulations from all sectors of the community on January, 22. The people participating in opening ceremony are Xu Hang (the Deputy Director of People’s Congress of Qingdao), Wang Anmin (the Director General Of Science &Technology Bureau of Qingdao), Zhang Xijun (the Secretary of Sifang district committee of the CPC, Qingdao) and Li Fengli (the Governor of Sifang District)
MESNAC , , is the first a non-state owned high-tech company in Qingdao listed in domestic stock exchange. MESNAC has been persisting in making high-end technology research in rubber tyre industry since it was established in 2000. MESNAC energetically makes a technological innovation system by making full use of unique resource of rubber machinery. What is most extraordinary is that MESNAC constructs a healthy running mechanism with the cooperation of Qingdao University of Science and Technology by adopting the methods of regarding the company as the core and combining production, study and research, which effectively promotes the commercialization of scientific and technological findings. With ten-year steady and speedy development, MESNAC has become the leader of its industry and ranked globally top-five in the field of rubber machinery in 2008.
The erection of R&D Center is one main step for setting up “National Tire Process and Control Engineering Research Center” built by MESNAC together with Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and also is one main element for establishing “Urban Scientific and Technological Park” and “China Rubber Vally” with the characteristic of combining scientific research, rubber material, equipment technology, personnel training and business together which has been planned carefully and put effort to build by Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government in the north of Sifang district of Qingdao for the past few years. Thereafter, “National Tire Process and Control Engineering Research Center”, “National Rubber Industry Technology and Products Trade Center”, “China Rubber Museum” and other projects speed up their planning and building in the neighborhood of MESNAC R&D Center. “China Rubber Valley”, the 60-year wish of Chinese rubber people, is gradually taking shape. Marked by the establishment of MESNAC R&D Center and putting into use, the strategic vision of setting up Qingdao “International Rubber City” further possesses special meaning and steps closer to the reality.
In the MESNAC R&D Center, there have been seven research institutes, such as those for Material Dosing and Conveying , Tire Building System , Information Electric , Information Engineering , Energy Saving , Tire Recycling , etc. More than 1000 scientific research technical personnel are working in the center.
