On September 8, the 2025 China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) Rubber Machinery & Mould Branch Members' Conference and Industry Technology Development Forum was held at the Beijing Jingdiao Group’s Langfang R&D and Production Base. Under the theme of "Intelligence-Driven, Innovating the Future," the event was jointly organized by the CRIA Rubber Machinery & Mould Branch, Beijing Jingdiao Group Co., Ltd., and MESNAC Co., Ltd.
Zhang Baoquan, Executive President of Beijing Jingdiao Group, extended a warm welcome to industry peers in his opening remarks and introduced the company’s development overview. He emphasized that Beijing Jingdiao would leverage its core technological strengths in digital manufacturing to empower the upgrading of the rubber machinery and mould industry, contributing "Jingdiao's strength" to enhancing the core competitiveness of China’s high-end equipment manufacturing.
Xu Wenying, President of the CRIA, delivered a report titled Opportunities and Challenges Facing China’s Rubber and Tire Industry. She encouraged enterprises to seize current development opportunities, act strategically, and work hard to achieve high-quality growth in the rubber industry.
Shi Yifeng, Deputy Secretary-General of the CRIA and Secretary-General of its Tire Branch, delivered a report on Challenges and Responses in China’s Tire Industry Amid Global Transformations. He stressed that the tire sector should abandon reliance on scale and low-cost competition, but optimize the industrial chain ecosystem and drive high-quality development through technological innovation.
Guan Bingzheng, Chairman of the CRIA Rubber Machinery & Mould Branch and Chairman & President of MESNAC, shared insights in his report Economic Performance and Outlook of China’s Rubber Machinery & Mould Industry. He stated that in the face of market pressures, the industry needs strong internal drive and should focus on the path of cost-effective and lean management. Based on customer pain points, we should drive the upgrade of tire manufacturing processes and automation transformation. The industry must actively embrace globalization while ensuring localized services, and diligently practice the concept of sustainable development. He also reviewed the branch’s work over the past year and outlined future priorities, including fostering a high-quality industry ecosystem, enhancing internal capabilities, and leading high-end industrial advancement.
Guo Hui, Dean of MESNAC’s Shenzhen Research Institute, delivered a keynote report on “Industrial Vision Technology Empowering Intelligent Quality Control in Tire Manufacturing”, showcasing cutting-edge technological applications. He outlined three strategic directions: independent key technologies, specialized vision solutions, and hardware-integrated core algorithms to further elevate tire manufacturing’s quality and efficiency.
During breaks, attendees toured Beijing Jingdiao Group’s Langfang facility, including its product exhibition hall, applied technology center, machining automation workshop, and complete machine assembly workshop. The forum concluded successfully amid lively exchanges and discussions.
